I visited the Honda dealership service department twice for two issues with my Honda CR-V. The first issue was related to the lagging and frequent disconnection of the Honda infotainment/Apple CarPlay system while driving. The second issue was a whistling or air-leak noise coming from the rear doors, especially at highway speeds. After several inspections and service attempts, I was informed that both issues are common in Honda CR-V vehicles and that there is nothing further that can be done. If this is indeed Honda’s position, I am surprised and disappointed that a vehicle known for its reliability and quality would have these kinds of unresolved issues. These problems negatively affect the driving experience and the reputation of the Honda brand. I was also very disappointed with the way my vehicle was handled during service. As part of the diagnosis, the dealership placed tape around the roof and sunroof area. However, they forgot to remove it before returning my vehicle. I did not notice it until about a week later. By that time, the tape adhesive had become very sticky and difficult to remove. It took me approximately five hours to carefully remove the tape residue from the roof without damaging the paint. This was extremely frustrating and should never have happened after a professional service visit. Overall, I expected a much higher standard of service and customer care from Honda. I hope Honda will review these concerns, provide guidance on resolving these issues, and take steps to improve both the quality of its vehicles and the service experience for its customer
